Gefen has followed in her father’s footsteps and has helped raise public awareness and the necessary funds for the preservation of Israel’s many heritage sites. \nUnder her stewardship\, SPIHS undertakes new restoration and preservation projects every year. He has appeared as soloist with orchestras\, including the Kiev National Orchestra among others. Born in Odessa\, Ukraine\, he began his violin studies at the age of six.
