DESCRIPTION:Bess de Farber and Rebecca Jefferson\nwith technical support from Peter Miller \nComposing A Heart and Other Jewish Immigrant Stories is a multi-media presentation comprising spoken word\, solo clarinet and/or piano\, a slideshow of images\, audio recordings\, and moving narratives. \nThis performance has been brought to you courtesy of the National Endowment for the Humanities Challenge Grant which provides a $1 match for every $3 raised to create an endowment fund. This fund will allow the Library of Judaica to collect\, preserve\, and promote through scholarship and public engagement the hidden and/or endangered materials relating to the Jewish experience in Florida\, Latin America and the Caribbean. \nPlease plan to join us.
