Serving Northeast Florida with Excellence Since 1946
From the beginning, River Garden has been dedicated to promoting wellness and preserving independence through outstanding care and services.
Now celebrating 80 years of distinction, River Garden was founded in 1946 by visionary Jewish women committed to serving seniors with compassion and dignity. Our mission began even earlier, in 1922, with the Ladies Hebrew Sheltering Aid Society, inspired by the Fifth Commandment: “Honor thy father and thy mother.”
From our humble beginnings—just four residents in a Riverside mansion—we have proudly served Northeast Florida for nearly a century. Today, on our 40 acre campus in Mandarin, we offer a full continuum of services, including independent living, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, adult day services, and home health care.
Rooted in tradition and driven by excellence, River Garden continues to grow and evolve to meet the needs of today and generations to come.
