Older adults are increasingly impacted but what has become commonly known as ‘the opioid crisis.’ Why? Although opioids are prescribed for positive reasons—as in to help individuals ease or alleviate their pain—this class of drugs often has unintended physical consequences for the elderly. Come learn more.
